A Grade
The girls knew they were in for a tight game against the Crows and they sure got it.
Brooke Wilson controlled the CDHBU game this week in the centre court with great patience and leadership beyond her years.
She never gave up and worked extremely hard especially in the last quarter when it was very tight. Grace Kingston was outstanding in defence, getting her hands on the ball many times and putting the pressure on their feeders into their shooters.
The Crows shooters worked very well together and made it hard for the defence but it was great to watch.
Tess Wilson had a great game and had to work hard to counteract the Crows game plan of trying to keep her out of the ring.
With a 51 goal draw it’s clear that both teams shot well in a great game.
CDHBU 51 drew Billabong Crows 51.
Awards – BOC Mug: Brooke Wilson, Corowa Home Improvements: Brooke Wilson, Corowa Hotel: Tess Wilson, Border Natural Therapies: Grace Kingston.

B Grade
The girls had a great start to the game going out nice and strong and breaking the first centre like they had planned.
With lots of hands over pressure they were making it hard for the Crows to get an even flow on down the court and the defence end with Julie Lavis leading was getting plenty of turnovers and rebounds.
The centre court was strong with Sharni O’Donoghue feeding very well into the shooters and Bec Barber controlling the circle and shooting very well.
CDHBU 60 def Billabong Crows 34.
Awards – BOC Mug: Sharni O’Donoghue, Blush Skin and Beauty: Julie Lavis, Health Culture: Bec Barber.

Settled and strong are the best words to describe the great game on Saturday.
These ladies went out with a fierce drive to win. Playing their own game, they found the lead and never lost it.
Top effort by all eleven players, showing great control when the game became more physical.
The ability has always been there, added to the positive attitudes and teamwork displayed makes for a strong season contender.
