A Grade
A fantastic team game at Myrtleford saw A Grade capitalise on many turnovers whileplaying with determination and patience.
An outstanding display of great sportsmanship in what turned out to be a rather physical and at times vocal game.
Every team player is eligible for an award this week - the ‘Worksafe Award’  - with the team taking home the prized trophy.
Kiara McLean (Susan Hines award) played a perfect captain’s game. She was level headed, led by example and settled the team and controlled the pace.
Cath Svarc (Club 1) and Best on Court – Worksafe Award  - had another outstanding game. She was dominant from one end of the court to the other.
Stephanie Clancy (Club 2) was great in defence. She worked tirelessly all day, found the ground a few times but resilience had her bounce up to fight for the next ball.
Erica Hanrahan (Origin Clothing) also played a great game in defence. She hassled from the first whistle to the last and was great at defensive breaks and pickoffs around the wing.
Georgie Schulz (Ladies Committee award) found form again this week.
She maintained composure, implemented the game plan and made space in the ring.

Fantastic win by these young guns.
The girls got off to a great start shooting 15 out of 16 goals in the first quarter and while the attackers continued to shoot with great accuracy, the defence was strong and the midcourt played well above their age.
Montana Eisenhaur  (Susan Hines award) drove well down the court and fed well into the goalies.
Hannah Cannell (Club 1) shot 31 goals and shooting at 83% accuracy. She has been a great asset to the Roos.
Belinda Patterson (Club 2) worked well with Hannah in goals. She not only shot well but moved very well and tried to implement what she has been working on at training
Hannah Tidd (Doc Yarrum award) continues to improve each week and combined well with Georgie and Jade.  Not only is she strong in defence her continual offering down the court is great.
Emma Sinclair (Ladies Committee award) played with great confidence this week. Her driving and passing into goals was fantastic.
