A Grade
Being a top of the table clash the girls knew they were in for a hard game and Howlong didn’t disappoint at all.
Their defence is quite strong and the shooters adapted and were able to make easy transitions in to the goals.
Brooke Wilson was outstanding through the centre court all game and worked hard with Grace Kingston and the defence end who were very clean this week pulling in lots of rebounds and keeping the goals down.
Courtney McDonald was one of the best for the day getting her hands on many passes in to the Howlong shooters and really making it hard.
Coaching staff didn’t expect the margin to blow out that big but it is a fantastic result and goes to show the girls are working hard to keep their game simple and it is working.
Great work girls.
CDHBU 59 defeated Howlong 35.
Awards:  BOC Mug Brooke Wilson, Border Natural Therapies Grace Kingston, Ebella Massage Courtney McDonald, Corowa Hotel Brooke Wilson.

B Grade
It was evident Howlong were going to be a strong team to beat so B Grade worked hard at training during the week to make sure they were doing everything to get their game running smoothly and it certainly paid off.
Attackers fed the shooters brilliantly with Bec Barber, one of the best, along with April Burmeister who controlled the ball well down the court and worked hard to make up for any mistakes.
The CDHBU Power defensive team were very strong, making it a hard task for Howlong to score easily.
It was a very exciting game to watch and the last quarter was quite tense, being so close and with 30 seconds to go the girls just couldn’t get an extra goal on the board, but were very happy to settle with a draw against a very strong team.
Fantastic work girls, let’s keep this going.
CDHBU 42 drew with Howlong 42.

Great win by the girls once again, a pattern is forming and the girls love the chase.
They went out strong in the first quarter, relaxed and rested during the second and then chased throughout the second half.
